How to make full strength scrumpy cider

9% must be like Bloody rocket fuel , anyway off to Tesco to get some apple Juice and sugar. Great Videeo mate.

how long do you suggest till the cider is ready and where do you get your nutrients for the cider
For this strength about two weeks , then it can be bottled and drunk straight away but it will benefit by leaving it stand for at least another week
ok thanks, once it is at its alchol level how do i stop it getting stronger
When the yeast has converted all the sugar into alcohol the fermentation will stop so it will not get any stronger
All that sugar, not good for a Diabetic like me. Rather tempted to try it though…
By the end of the fermentation there will be very little sugar left in it as the yeast will have converted it to alcohol

A up mate ,think you advise people not to buy apple juice that contain sulphites. Ive just wasted 14ltrs of apple juice from Morrissons, i didnt realise sulphites kill yeast…thus will have to start over again….oh dear .
